Welcome to the community of Cavendish, Trinity Bay.... The origin of Cavendish was named after Sir Cavendish Boyle (1849-1916), a Governor of Newfoundland and the author of 'Ode to Newfoundland'. In past years several other businesses such as an Insurance broker, a clothing manufacturer, a garage and other stores existed...and so we meet 60 Main Road, a restaurant and takeout located right across the beach in Cavendish. this operation comes fully equipped and ready to go! There's everything here and seating for 18 with spectacular ocean views to attract the tourists in summertime. This currently is a seasonal operation and for the right enterpreneur this could change.
