Located within the Greater Saskatoon metropolitan area, King George is a neighbourhood in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Transportation

This part of the city will attract active home buyers since it is moderately suitable for cycling. More specifically, King George features good cycling infrastructure, and there are a limited number of slopes. It is also easy for people walking to move around in this neighbourhood; running day-to-day errands is convenient without a vehicle, and various businesses are close at hand. This neighbourhood is rather car friendly. It is convenient to park, and most real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway. On the other hand, the transit system in this part of the city is fairly poor. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most properties.

It is very convenient to get to the closest supermarket without the use of a vehicle in this part of the city. Additionally, it is easy to travel to the closest coffee shop, and residents of King George are served by a few restaurants as well.
