Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Westview is a neighbourhood within City of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Walking is fairly practical for home buyers in Westview; many daily errands can be run without needing to get in a car, and many businesses are fairly close by. In contrast, Westview is not particularly bicycling-friendly because there are quite a few hills, and the cycling infrastructure is sometimes poor. Nevertheless, a few pleasant sectors for cycling exist, and biking is fairly prevalent. This part of the city is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. However, this neighbourhood is very car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are particularly easy to reach from any location in this part of City of North Vancouver, and it is convenient to find a place to park.

Services

In Westview, families will typically be able to reach daycares and schools without a vehicle. Parents are served by public and private elementary schools.
