The neighbourhood of Sand Cove is part of the city of Saint John, New Brunswick, which is located in the Greater Saint John metropolitan area.

Transportation

Sand Cove is an extremely good part of Saint John for travelling by car. Many homes for sale are a very short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is very easy to find a place to park. However, travelling by public transit is difficult in this part of the city. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually around the corner. This part of the city is not particularly conducive to pedestrians because few daily needs can be met without the use of a car. Getting around by bicycle is also challenging in Sand Cove as travelling by bike is rendered arduous by the typically sloping terrain, and the bicycling network is not especially extensive.

Services

The nearest supermarket in Sand Cove is generally only a rather short trip away. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops are available as well. Regarding education, families will find that no matter where their property is located in Sand Cove, schools and daycares are nearby.
