The community of Long Island can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in this community. Parking is quite easy. It is very impractical for pedestrians to navigate Long Island because most daily needs are almost impossible to carry out without a vehicle. This part of the municipality is also not very bike-friendly since the topography is not especially flat, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.

Services

Long Island does not have any high schools or primary schools. When it comes to food, home buyers in this area almost always have to turn to a vehicle to travel to the closest supermarket.
