The community of Scotch Lake can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is usually the favoured way to navigate Scotch Lake. It is very convenient to find a place to park. It is very inconvenient for pedestrians to move around in Scotch Lake as almost no common errands can be run without needing to resort to a car. Getting around by bicycle is also very difficult in this community because the topography is not very flat, and the bicycling network is quite poor.

Services

This area does not contain any high schools or primary schools. When it comes to eating, property owners in Scotch Lake almost always have to rely on a car to access the closest supermarket.
