Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Tangier is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in this part of Halifax. It is very convenient to park. This area is not very cycling-friendly since there are a fair number of elevation changes, and the bicycling infrastructure is quite bad. Walking is also not very convenient for property owners in this community as meeting daily needs is very inconvenient without a vehicle.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Tangier. With respect to food, purchasing one's groceries very often necessitates the use of a car in this area.

Character

Tangier offers a relaxed ambience. The noise levels in Tangier are low, as the streets are generally reasonably peaceful. It is very hard to reach public green spaces in the community since they aren't well-situated. Still, there are a few parks nearby for residents to unwind in.
