The bicycle is a rather limited mode of transportation in this part of the municipality since there are very few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of hills to challenge cyclists. Many of the homes for sale in this community are located in areas that are also not very conducive to those who prefer to travel as pedestrians as most daily needs are practically impossible to meet without a car.

Services

This community does not contain any high schools or primary schools. As far as eating is concerned, house buyers in East Dover almost always need a vehicle to travel to the nearest grocery store.

Character

The character of East Dover is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. East Dover is very quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Parks aren't well-spread out, resulting in them being rather difficult to get to from many locations within this area. Despite that, there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to explore, including West Dover Provincial Park.
