The community of West Dover can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

West Dover is particularly car friendly. Parking is easy. Biking is difficult in West Dover because there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and the cycling network is quite bad. Many of the homes for sale in this part of the municipality are located in places that are also not very suitable for those who like to get around on foot as most daily needs are nearly impossible to meet without a car.

West Dover is a very good community to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. The noise levels in West Dover are very low, as there are low levels of noise from traffic.
