Situated within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Lake Loon is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

The car is usually the preferred method to navigate Lake Loon. It is very easy to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, Lake Loon is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the community, and bus stops are typically around the corner. A majority of the homes for sale in this community are located in areas that are not very convenient for those who travel by walking since very few daily errands can be run without a vehicle. Lake Loon is also not especially appropriate for bicycling as the terrain is not very flat, and there are few bike lanes.

Services

A fraction of property owners in Lake Loon may be able to access the nearest supermarket as pedestrians, while others will have to use another means of transportation. There are also a few opportunities for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, primary schools and daycares are easy to access on foot from any location in Lake Loon.
