The community of Ostrea Lake is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is very often the favoured transportation option in Ostrea Lake. It is especially convenient to park. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of Halifax are located in areas that are not very suitable for pedestrians since almost no daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle.
