Russell Lake is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is usually the best approach to navigate Russell Lake. It is very convenient to find a place to park, and most properties for sale are a very short car ride from the closest highway. On the other hand, travelling by transit can be difficult in Russell Lake due to the infrequent service. Nonetheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Walking is not especially practical for property owners in Russell Lake since most daily needs are occasionally difficult to carry out without the need to use a car. This area is also not particularly bike-friendly as the cycling infrastructure is somewhat poor, and there are a fair number of hills to challenge cyclists.
