The neighbourhood of Glen Shields can be found in the city of Vaughan, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Glen Shields is moderately bike-friendly because the terrain is reasonably flat. Traveling as a pedestrian is also reasonably convenient for house buyers in this part of Vaughan; running daily errands is convenient without a vehicle. Public transit users may experience few choices in Glen Shields due to the low service level. Nonetheless, there is Centre / Dufferin with access to the Viva Orange. House owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. However, the best means of transportation in this area is very often driving. Parking is easy, and it is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Highway 407, from any home in this part of the city.

Parents and their kids will find that wherever their house is situated in this part of the city, primary schools and daycares are close by. However, Glen Shields does not contain any high schools.
