The neighbourhood of Glen Shields is part of the city of Vaughan, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Home buyers who value being able to walk everywhere will be pleased with the rather pedestrian-friendly nature of this area; most daily needs are convenient to carry out without a vehicle. It is also easy to commute by bike in Glen Shields as bicycle riders do not encounter serious elevation changes. The public transit service in Glen Shields is not especially frequent. Nevertheless, commuters can rely on Centre / Dufferin with access to the Viva Orange. There are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. In contrast, cars are an excellent transportation option in this part of the city. Accessing a parking spot is generally easy, and the majority of houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 407.
