Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Nantucket is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is especially car friendly. Nearby highways are fairly easy to access from any home in Nantucket, and coming across a place to park is easy. In contrast, the public transit service in Nantucket is not very frequent. Nonetheless, house owners have access to about 10 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Cycling is easy in this area. Nantucket is not particularly convenient for those who get around by foot as running common errands is occasionally challenging without a vehicle.

Services

Daycares and schools are convenient to access without a car from most houses for sale in Nantucket. With respect to eating, it is often possible for property owners in Nantucket to do their grocery shopping as pedestrians. This part of the municipality offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes.
